Plot summary
Aman Dhillon is a timid and fearful young man who lives with his mother and brother in a Sikh colony. His mother is proud of his father, who was a legendary martial artist and superhero known as Flying Jatt. Aman works as a martial arts teacher in a school and has a crush on Kirti, another teacher. He is constantly harassed by Malhotra, a wealthy and influential builder who wants to acquire their land for his factory. Malhotra sends Raka, a ruthless mercenary, to cut down the holy tree that stands on their land. Aman tries to stop him but gets beaten up badly. However, a lightning bolt strikes the tree and transfers its power to Aman, while Raka falls into a pit of toxic waste outside Malhotra's factory.
The next day, Aman discovers that he has gained superpowers such as super strength, speed, agility and flight. He also has a khanda symbol on his back, which was carved on the tree. His mother and brother convince him to become a superhero like his father and name him Flying Jatt. Aman reluctantly agrees but is not very good at his job. He is afraid of heights, dogs and fire. He also does not know how to use his powers properly. He becomes popular among the people but also attracts the attention of Malhotra and Raka.
Raka, who has survived the toxic waste, also develops superpowers such as super strength, durability and regeneration. He also becomes immune to fire, electricity and bullets. He becomes Malhotra's loyal servant and vows to destroy Flying Jatt and the holy tree. He attacks the colony several times but is always repelled by Flying Jatt. However, he manages to injure Aman's mother and kidnap Kirti. Aman realizes that he has to face his fears and fight Raka with full confidence.
Aman tracks down Raka to Malhotra's factory, where he finds Kirti tied up to a bomb. He frees her and confronts Raka in a final battle. He uses his powers creatively and manages to overpower Raka.
