Terms and Conditions for We-Taking Care

Introduction

These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by We-Taking Care, including counseling, therapeutic interventions, and trainings. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you should not use our services.


Confidentiality

We-Taking Care is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all client information. Any information shared by clients during counseling sessions or therapeutic interventions will be kept confidential unless there is a legal or ethical obligation to disclose it. Clients are advised to keep all information shared during sessions confidential as well.


Consent

Clients must provide informed consent before receiving any services from We-Taking Care. This includes a clear explanation of the services being offered, the potential risks and benefits of these services, and any fees or costs associated with them. Clients must also sign a consent form before starting any services.


Professionalism

We-Taking Care maintains high standards of professionalism in all interactions with clients, including in-person sessions, online sessions, and communication through phone or email. All staff are trained to maintain appropriate boundaries and avoid any behavior that could be considered inappropriate or unprofessional.


Respect for Diversity

We-Taking Care demonstrates respect for diversity in all aspects of its operations, including in its hiring practices, client interactions, and service delivery. This includes a commitment to anti-discrimination policies and a willingness to work with clients from all backgrounds and walks of life.


Quality Assurance

We-Taking Care has systems in place to ensure the quality of its services, including regular evaluation and review of counseling and therapeutic interventions. This includes ongoing training and professional development for staff and a commitment to evidence-based practices.


Fees and Payments

We-Taking Care communicates its fee structure clearly to clients, including any applicable taxes, insurance coverage, or sliding-scale fees. Payment must be made in a timely manner, and clients will be provided with receipts or other documentation as needed.


Cancellation and Rescheduling

We-Taking Care has clear policies in place for cancellations and rescheduling of appointments, including any fees or penalties that may apply. Clients must provide notice of cancellation or rescheduling at least 24 hours in advance.


Limitation of Liability

We-Taking Care will not be liable for any damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages. We-Taking Care is not liable for any breach of confidentiality that occurs through the use of electronic communication, such as email or video conferencing.


Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where We-Taking Care is located. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the rules of the relevant arbitration association.


Conclusion

These terms and conditions represent the entire agreement between We-Taking Care and its clients, and supersede any other agreements or understandings, whether written or oral. If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.
